Many people have asked us for advice on how much to give. Here’s a guide to help you understand how your donation may be used for valuable investments and improvements to the basic school that has been built. Scholarship for a bright student to attend high school: $1000/student/year Additional solar panels: $600 each (to power a new computer) Additional computer: $450 each (solar-powered, custom-built with Khmer keyboard) Additional water well: $2,000 Fund one year of an AAfC trained teacher: $2,160 Fund internet access for one computer a year: $500 School supplies for one student per year: $2.50 And don’t forget, every donation over $150 entitles you to have your name inscribed on a plaque to be hung in the school permanently!
